Fine Jewelry Merchandise Supervisor

About This Role

Supervise and engage a team of Fine Jewelry associates to deliver an outstanding shopping experience and drive sales. Focus on customer service, merchandise flow, and team development within the JCPenney store environment.

Responsibilities

• Model and hold team accountable for outstanding customer service
• Actively listen to customer issues to resolve problems
• Maximize sales and service by ensuring staff is scheduled appropriately
• Drive planning and execution of events and credit card acquisition
• Coach and develop team by modeling JCPenney's company values to build lasting customer relationships
• Provide direction and support to ensure merchandise flows to the floor efficiently
• Maintain stock levels and presentation standards for customers
• Partner with store management team to source and hire store talent for hourly positions
• Play an active role in the training and development of associates
• Consistently meet established performance standards including shrink, safety, Omnichannel, and attendance

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years retail experience
• Ability to drive performance by solving problems and making smart decisions
• Ability to build positive relationships and strong networks
• Proactive in improving customer experience with energy and urgency
• Confident leader willing to take on challenging assignments

Qualifications

• bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 2 years retail experience
