About This Role

Maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions in a healthcare environment to protect the safety and health of others. Responsibilities include inspecting and cleaning areas, safely using equipment, and handling waste materials, ensuring a clean and orderly environment for guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a friendly, efficient, and positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, and co-workers
• Maintain all assigned ancillary and department areas and corridors in a clean, neat, and sanitary manner
• Inspect and use judgment in determining appropriate cleaning techniques
• Demonstrate efficient and safe use of housekeeping equipment and solutions
• Disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies using germicides and sterilizing equipment
• Employ universal precautions when disposing of trash and bio-hazardous materials
• Keep cart properly stocked with equipment and cleaning supplies, ensuring chemicals are accurately labeled
• Promote effective interpersonal and interdisciplinary relationships and maintain professional conduct
• Assist in improving productivity and efficient operations of the department
