About This Role

Supervise event staff security operations by ensuring the safety of patrons, employees, and performers at events, while also managing scheduling, training, and client communication for the security team.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of patrons, guests, and performers
  • Maintain the Hospitality Security brand with all clients, guests, and co-workers
  • Perform access control duties
  • Follow venue specific guidelines
  • Conduct foot patrols
  • Manage scheduling for events to ensure proper coverage
  • Oversee uniform and equipment maintenance for the Event Staff team
  • Supervise, coach, and provide initial disciplinary action for event staff
  • Submit timesheets for payroll for event staff
  • Communicate with clients and operations manager

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old or older
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED
  • No felony convictions; able to pass a criminal background check
  • Must be available to work a minimum of 4+ events per month
  • Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to stand or walk for 4-8 hour shifts
  • Readily able to respond to emergency situations
  • Ability to work in or outdoors during all seasons
  • Ability to hear conversations (in person or via 2-way radio) in noisy environments
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds

Qualifications
