About This Role

Provide and coordinate care for patients within an Emergency Room setting, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to offer physical and psychological support.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions while maintaining accurate and detailed records
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess the patient's condition
  • Demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served
  • Promote hospital customer service initiatives
  • Utilize the nursing process for individual care to meet the needs of patients
  • Demonstrate the ability to perform technical skills and procedures

Requirements

  • 1+ year of ER experience
  • Current RN licensure by TN Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state
  • Current BLS from the American Heart Association
  • ACLS within 1 year of employment
  • PALS within 1 year of employment
  • CPI within 6 months of employment

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of ER experience required
