About This Role

The Equal Opportunity Assistant leverages strong administrative and communication skills to support the Department of Transportation's Workforce and Business Opportunity programs. This role involves providing information on equitable transportation programs, maintaining web content, and performing various administrative tasks to ensure program effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Advance DOT Workforce and Business Opportunity programs
  • Perform a range of administrative tasks supporting outreach efforts and special projects
  • Provide information to interested parties regarding equitable transportation programs
  • Maintain information on the Workforce and Business Opportunity webpages
  • Review vendor invoices for accuracy
  • Monitor resource accounts
  • Provide additional administrative support across various programs

Requirements

  • 1 year as a Human Resource Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration) OR 2 years of clerical experience OR an equivalent combination of experience and training
  • Meet PA residency requirement
  • Ability to perform essential job functions

Qualifications
