DARPA – Tactical Technology Office (TTO) Executive Action Officer

About This Role

Support DARPA's Tactical Technology Office (TTO) leadership as an Action Officer, engaging with various stakeholders to advance initiatives and accelerate TTO priorities. This role involves comprehensive support to executive leadership, coordination of high-level meetings and events, and tracking of support activities.

Responsibilities

• Engage with TTO leadership, Government Program Managers (PMs) and support teams, the DARPA Director’s Office (DIRO), personnel from other DARPA technical and support offices, DARPA performers, and other government partners to strengthen relationships, advance initiatives, and accelerate TTO priorities and efforts
• Provide comprehensive support to TTO leadership, track and manage action completion within the front office and/or program support teams
• Contribute to the coordination and drafting of strategy, planning, office policy and procedure, and decision support documents
• Coordinate on all aspects of high-level meetings, events, and key initiatives to include scheduling, location, security, logistics, and after action
• Assist in integrating workstreams and coordinating priorities
• Coordinate, track, and report on support activities, processes, and progress

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (or equivalent experience)
• At least 5 years’ relevant experience (staffing and advising DoD, Cabinet, or Executive Office officials, corporate executives, or startup founders)
• Active Secret security clearance, with ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
• US citizenship
• Prior experience facilitating meetings on behalf of senior executives and coordinating actions and follow-up
• Demonstrated professionalism, maturity, sound judgement, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently or in a team setting
• Strong writing skills
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work on-site at full-time at DARPA in Arlington, VA

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, or substantial relevant occupational experience (~10 or more years)
• At least 5 years’ relevant experience staffing and advising DoD, Cabinet, or Executive Office officials, corporate executives, or startup founders

Nice to Have

• Prior DARPA experience
• Active Top Secret security clearance
• Prior experience in an R&D environment
• Other ARPA agency (ARPA-H, IARPA, ARPA-E, etc.) experience
