Manage circuit requests for Amentum, a global leader in engineering and technology solutions, ensuring efficient telecommunication services for the United States and its allies. This role involves coordinating testing, activating new circuits, and maintaining accurate circuit databases to support critical operations.
Responsibilities
- Order, amend, or change circuit requests as directed by GET
- Provide Telecommunication Service Requests (TSR), Telecommunication Service Orders (TSO), and Ready For Use (RFU) reports to GET management and requestors
- Coordinate testing and activations for all new circuits
- Provide regular updates on all circuit requests
- Develop, refine, and comply with telecommunications systems planning and policy direction
- Monitor and recommend circuit optimization for effective information exchange
- Maintain the circuit database to ensure individual communications circuit costs are current
- Ensure daily circuit allocations to support warfighters during major exercises and deployments are accurate 90% of the time on the first submission
Requirements
- 5 years of technical experience in Information Technology management, processes, technologies, tools, and techniques OR 10 years of technical experience in Information Technology management, processes, technologies, tools, and techniques
- 2 years of experience with large-scale enterprise/global networks in a high paced diverse environment OR 5 years of experience with large-scale enterprise/global networks in a high paced diverse environment
- Familiarity with DISA Circulars and DISA Storefront
- Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI US Government Clearance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- 5 years of technical experience in Information Technology management, processes, technologies, tools, and techniques OR 10 years of technical experience in Information Technology management, processes, technologies, tools, and techniques
