Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience at Walgreens by assisting customers, processing sales, maintaining store standards, and managing inventory.
Responsibilities
- Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services
- Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience
- Model and share customer service best practices with team members
- Register customer purchases on assigned cash register, collect cash, and distribute change
- Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges
- Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised
- Take inventory and maintain records, check in and price merchandise
- Implement Company asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss
- Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products
- Assist with exterior and interior maintenance to ensure clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance
Requirements
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
- Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours
Nice to Have
- Six months of experience in a retail environment
- Prior work experience with Walgreens
