Customer Service Associate

About This Role

Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience by engaging with customers, processing sales, and maintaining store operations for Walgreens.

Responsibilities

• Register sales on assigned cash register and provide efficient checkout service
• Engage customers, greeting them and offering assistance with products and services
• Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience
• Recommend items for sale and suggest trade-up or companion items
• Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed
• Keep counters and shelves clean, well-merchandised, and take inventory
• Check in and price merchandise as required or directed
• Implement Company asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products
• Construct and maintain displays, including promotional and seasonal items
• Assist with separation of food items and product placement as specified by policies
• Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service and poster printing
• Assume web pick-up responsibilities by monitoring, filling, and delivering orders
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance to ensure a clean, neat, and orderly store
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned
• Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate

Requirements

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours

Qualifications

• Preferred six months of experience in a retail environment
