Provide a distinctive and delightful customer experience and efficient checkout service. Engage with customers, resolve issues, and ensure a positive shopping environment.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services
• Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience
• Share customer service best practices with all team members
• Provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service at the cash register
• Process sales, voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges
• Maintain clean and well-merchandised counters and shelves, take inventory, and maintain records
• Implement Company asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products
• Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise
• Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service and suggestive selling of promotional photo products
• Assume web pick-up responsibilities by monitoring, filling, and delivering online orders

Requirements

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (Except in Puerto Rico)
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours

Nice to Have

• Six months of experience in a retail environment
• Prior work experience with Walgreens
