Customer Service Associate

About This Role

This role focuses on delivering a positive customer experience by providing efficient checkout service, resolving issues, and assisting with various store operations, including merchandising and maintaining store appearance. The associate will also ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience by engaging with customers, resolving issues, and answering questions
• Register sales on assigned cash register and provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient checkout service
• Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed
• Keep counters and shelves clean, well merchandised, and maintain records
• Check in and price merchandise, construct and maintain displays
• Implement Company asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products
• Assist with separation of food items and product placement, and stock rotation for consumable items
• Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service and suggestive selling promotional photo products
• Assume web pick-up responsibilities, monitoring and fulfilling orders
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance, ensuring clean, neat, and orderly store condition
• Attend training and complete PPLs as requested by Manager or assigned by corporate

Requirements

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours

Nice to Have

• Six months of experience in a retail environment
• Prior work experience with Walgreens
