About This Role

Deliver distinctive customer service at Walgreens by engaging with customers, processing sales, resolving issues, and maintaining store operations. This role focuses on providing efficient checkout services and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience
• Register sales on assigned cash register and provide courteous checkout service
• Engage customers and patients, offering assistance with products and services
• Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience
• Recommend items for sale and process voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges
• Keep counters and shelves clean, well-merchandised, and assist with inventory
• Implement Company asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products
• Assist with display construction and maintenance
• Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service and promotional product sales

Requirements

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours

Nice to Have

• Six months of experience in a retail environment
• Prior work experience with Walgreens
