Customer Service Associate

About This Role

Deliver an excellent customer experience by processing sales, resolving issues, and assisting customers with product inquiries. Maintain store appearance, merchandise, and support operational tasks to ensure efficient service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience
• Register sales on assigned cash register and provide efficient checkout service
• Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services
• Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience
• Recommend items for sale and suggest trade-up or companion items
• Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed
• Keep counters and shelves clean, well merchandised, and maintain records
• Check in and price merchandise, implement asset protection procedures, and ensure compliance with laws
• Assist with building displays, stock rotation, and product placement
• Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo and promotional products
• Assume web pick-up responsibilities (monitor, fill, and deliver orders)
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance to ensure clean store condition
• Attend training and complete personal development activities requested by Manager

Requirements

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours

Nice to Have

• Six months of experience in a retail environment
• Prior work experience with Walgreens
