Customer Service Associate

About This Role

Deliver an outstanding customer experience for Walgreens by assisting customers, processing sales, and maintaining store operations.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services
• Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience
• Share customer service best practices with team members
• Register customer purchases on assigned cash register, collect cash, and distribute change
• Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed
• Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised
• Take inventory and maintain records
• Check in and price merchandise as required
• Implement Company asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products
• Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise
• Assist with separation of food items and product placement as specified by policies/procedures
• Assist in stock rotation using the first in, first out method and restock outs
• Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service and promotional product suggestive sell
• Assume web pick-up responsibilities by monitoring orders, filling orders, and delivering to customers
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance to ensure clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned
• Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate

Requirements

• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours

Nice to Have

• Six months of experience in a retail environment
• Prior work experience with Walgreens
