Customer Service Associate

About This Role

Deliver excellent customer service by greeting customers, resolving issues, and efficiently processing sales transactions at assigned cash registers. Maintain store appearance and merchandise displays while adhering to company policies.

Responsibilities

• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience
• Register sales accurately on assigned cash register
• Provide courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service
• Engage customers and patients, offering assistance with products and services
• Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive experience
• Recommend items for sale and suggest trade-up or companion items
• Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed
• Keep counters and shelves clean and well-merchandised
• Take inventory and maintain records, checking in and pricing merchandise
• Assist with separation of food items and product placement according to policies
• Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photos and suggestive selling of photo products
• Assume web pick-up responsibilities by monitoring, filling, and delivering orders
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance to ensure clean and orderly store condition
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned
• Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate

Requirements

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours

Nice to Have

• Six months of experience in a retail environment
• Prior work experience with Walgreens
