Customer Service Associate

About This Role

Deliver a distinctive customer experience by greeting customers, assisting with products and services, and efficiently processing sales transactions at a retail pharmacy location.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services
• Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience
• Model and share customer service best practices with team members
• Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service
• Register customer purchases on assigned cash register, collect cash and distribute change
• Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed
• Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records
• Check in and price merchandise as required or directed by store manager
• Implement Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance

Requirements

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours

Nice to Have

• Six months of experience in a retail environment
• Prior work experience with Walgreens
