Customer Service Associate

About This Role

Deliver distinctive customer service by registering sales, assisting with purchases, and maintaining store operations to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Register sales on assigned cash register, providing courteous and efficient checkout service
• Engage customers by greeting them, offering assistance, and resolving issues
• Model and share customer service best practices with team members
• Recommend items for sale and suggest trade-up or companion products
• Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges
• Keep counters and shelves clean, well-merchandised, and assist with inventory
• Implement Company asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance to ensure store cleanliness
• Attend training and complete Professional Practice Literature (PPLs) as requested

Requirements

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours

Nice to Have

• Six months of experience in a retail environment
• Prior work experience with Walgreens
