About This Role

Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience by engaging with customers, resolving issues, and efficiently processing sales transactions in a retail pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services
• Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience
• Share customer service best practices with team members
• Provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service to customers
• Register customer purchases on assigned cash register and process payments, voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges
• Keep counters and shelves clean, well-merchandised, and take inventory
• Implement Company asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products
• Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise
• Assist with photo area services, including digital passport photos and suggestive selling of photo products

Requirements

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours

Nice to Have

• Six months of experience in a retail environment
• Prior work experience with Walgreens
