Customer Service Associate - Temporary

About This Role

Deliver distinctive and delightful customer experiences by greeting customers, resolving issues, and processing sales efficiently. Support store operations by maintaining cleanliness, merchandising, and assisting with various tasks.

Responsibilities

• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience
• Register sales on assigned cash register, providing courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient checkout service
• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services
• Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience
• Recommend items for sale to customer and recommend trade-up and/or companion items
• Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed
• Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records
• Check in and price merchandise as required or as directed by store manager
• Assist with separation of food items and product placement as specified by policies/procedures
• Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service and suggestive selling promotional photo products

Requirements

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours

Nice to Have

• Six months of experience in a retail environment
• Prior work experience with Walgreens
