Customer Service Associate - Temporary

About This Role

Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience at Walgreens by processing sales, resolving customer issues, and maintaining store operations. This role focuses on providing efficient and friendly service while ensuring compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience
• Register sales on assigned cash register and provide efficient checkout service
• Engage customers, offer assistance, and resolve issues to ensure a positive experience
• Provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service to customers
• Recommend items for sale, including trade-up and companion items
• Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed
• Keep counters and shelves clean, well merchandised, and maintain inventory records
• Check in and price merchandise as directed by the store manager or shift leader
• Implement Company asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products
• Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise
• Assist with separation of food items and product placement according to policies
• Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport and promotional sales
• Assume web pick-up responsibilities by monitoring, filling, and delivering orders
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance to ensure a clean and orderly store
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned
• Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate

Requirements

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (Except in Puerto Rico)
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours

Nice to Have

• Six months of experience in a retail environment
• Prior work experience with Walgreens
