Customer Service Associate - Temporary

About This Role

Deliver excellent customer service by registering sales, assisting customers with products and services, and maintaining store operations for a retail pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience
• Register sales on assigned cash register, providing efficient checkout service
• Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services
• Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience
• Recommend items for sale to customers, including trade-up and/or companion items
• Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed
• Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records
• Check in and price merchandise as required or directed by store management
• Implement Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss
• Assist with separation of food items and product placement as specified by policies/procedures
• Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service and suggestive selling
• Assume web pick-up responsibilities, monitoring and filling orders
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance, ensuring clean and orderly store condition
• Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate

Requirements

• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours

Nice to Have

• Six months of experience in a retail environment
• Prior work experience with Walgreens
