Corporate Intern - Commercial Digital Solutions

About This Role

This summer internship program provides hands-on work experience within the Commercial Digital Solutions team, focusing on supporting M&A activities related to digital platform conversions for business banking customers. Interns will apply classroom knowledge in a corporate environment while contributing to critical projects and developing leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Commercial Digital Solutions team, which provides innovative digital platforms for cash management and payments to First Citizens Bank's largest business banking customers
• Focus on M&A activities in preparation for converting acquired business clients onto appropriate digital platforms
• Conduct research, analytics, and strategy development to support ongoing M&A initiatives
• Review and improve processes related to M&A efforts
• Attend professional development sessions, informational sessions, networking and community service events
• Work on a project designed to improve a specific process or solve a problem, which will be presented at the close of the internship
• Prepare a wrap-up presentation to be shared with division leaders and key stakeholders outlining accomplishments and experience

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Currently enrolled at an accredited collegiate institution (during the time of the summer program)
• Ability to work 40 hours per week during the duration of the program
