About This Role

The Manager, IT will lead the Consumer Digital Banking team, providing technical and business process management solutions for personal and business banking. This role involves people management, technical guidance, and aligning projects with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical expert and strategic leader to senior management, associates, and business units.
  • Provide development leadership for medium to large sized projects and maintenance on client-facing online and mobile banking systems.
  • Establish and monitor expectations to achieve company and department goals, and manage the performance, training, and evaluation of staff.
  • Direct programming, business analysis, or testing activities, including scope, time, and cost estimates.
  • Provide direction and oversight to IT projects and products, assigning tasks, driving schedules, and conveying results.
  • Ensure team activities comply with configuration, change controls, and security standards.

Requirements

  • 6+ years experience in Applications development, applications analysis, or systems engineering (with Bachelor's Degree) OR 10+ years (with High School Diploma/GED)
  • Previous leadership for technical implementation with People management and Delivery / Engineering management
  • Good verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma/GED
  • 6 years of experience in Applications development, applications analysis, or systems engineering with a Bachelor's Degree OR 10 years with a High School Diploma or GED. Previous leadership in technical implementation with People management and Delivery / Engineering management.

  • Experience in resource management and managing large team of engineers

  • Experience in cross functional delivery across other IT teams

  • Experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, detailed designing and development
  • Implementation experience with SAAS/PAAS based solutions
  • Post-delivery experience in assisting client teams in supporting live applications and knowledge transfer.
