About This Role

Prepare and serve meals for residents in an assisted living facility, adhering to dietary regulations and food preparation standards while ensuring an appealing presentation. Provide oversight to dietary aides and manage food deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals and nourishments using standardized recipes
• Adhere to regulations and company policies regarding diets, food preparation standards, and infection control
• Provide oversight to the dietary aide position during your shift
• Receive and inspect food deliveries for accuracy and quality
• Pay special attention to appearance of meals

Requirements

• Able to follow a recipe and have basic cooking skills
• Willing to learn and follow safety, preparation, and sanitation standards
• Pass physical examination for employment within facility
• Pass through required orientation and training
• Able to follow written and/or verbal instructions
• Previous experience in Food Service
