Construction Project Manager

About This Role

Lead and manage commercial, retail, and residential construction projects from inception to closeout, ensuring reliable delivery, cost estimation, and high-quality craftsmanship. This role involves full lifecycle project management in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Run full lifecycle construction project management from start to finish
• Prepare project budgets, bids, and customer proposals
• Develop and maintain project schedules
• Manage project contact sheets and job folders
• Handle all permitting processes including out-of-state permits and licensing
• Oversee subcontractor bidding and awarding
• Develop and execute site logistics plans
• Ensure quality control throughout projects
• Lead and own project meetings
• Manage changes and costs effectively
• Approve invoices weekly/biweekly for payment
• Own and update project logs in a timely manner
• Manage the job submittal process for assigned projects
• Coordinate project turnover, phased occupancy, and closeout
• Manage warranty requirements
• Support site superintendents and labor with coordination of work, materials, manpower, and equipment
• Order materials and finishes for projects

Requirements

• 5+ years of construction experience
• Ability to run projects independently
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and manage details
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfort with technology and eagerness to learn new systems

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction project management, capable of running projects independently

Nice to Have

• Past Laborer/Superintendent experience
• Experience in estimating and bidding
