About This Role

This corporate office-based role involves coordinating and managing O&M construction projects exceeding $10,000, focusing on creating checks and balances, seeking bids, and procuring vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor forecasting and capital planning using ESRI and Jedox
  • Ensure capital expenditures are allocated to appropriate assets via Elements
  • Administer construction schedules for both special and O&M projects
  • Identify opportunities to bundle work for better pricing/value, or reallocate scope between projects
  • Continuously seek and build relationships with vendors to expand network
  • Build and administer a database of asset codes with support for vendors and suppliers across all CSWR markets
  • Coordinate pre-bid Scope of Work meetings with Regional Managers and Operation Partners
  • Manage the creation of Master Service Agreements (MSAs)
  • Assemble bid documents and solicit proposals for work
  • Create and administer Volume Incentive Rebate (VIR) programs
  • Analyze and evaluate bids through tabulation processes, presenting findings to the regional Construction Manager, RM, and Operations
  • Award work and create purchase orders in NetSuite
  • Ensure all upfront vendor requirements are in place before work commencement
  • Continuously update ESRI and Elements with status and required asset tracking, including physical equipment, costs, and official documentation
  • Create and maintain a submittal log
  • Assist Regional Construction Managers in processing assets and corresponding documents in Elements
  • Develop and manage a check cutting compliance program with accounting, including lien waivers, and process all invoices

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or a similar discipline
  • 3+ years experience
  • Advanced skills in all aspects of Microsoft Office

  • 3+ years of experience
