Construction Project Manager

About This Role

Oversee and manage construction projects with a focus on QA/QC, data reporting, financial analysis, and client relations. This role involves providing technical assistance, identifying solutions to issues, and optimizing project processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project QA/QC, including approving and implementing client-specific documents and procedures
• Ensure project data is accurately reported to CMIC Construction Software
• Evaluate and review client designs, identifying and providing solutions to issues
• Provide technical assistance to the field support team
• Analyze items requiring outside discipline assistance and interface with those disciplines
• Provide input in project planning sessions and assist in staff and internal resource coordination
• Analyze all financial aspects of project(s) through ongoing job forecasting
• Track project progress and adapt work as required, properly defining and costing FCN work
• Cultivate relationships with on-site contractors and nurture client relationships
• Design and implement risk mitigation plans
• Conduct project reviews and create detailed reports for executive staff
• Optimize and improve processes and overall approach when necessary
• Secure growth opportunities for initiating new projects
• Supervise the Construction Management Team, including Superintendent, Safety Manager, Materials Manager, Documentation Control, and Scheduling personnel

Requirements

• 5 years’ experience in Electrical and Instrumentation construction
• Experience with electrical drawing
• Experience with VLF testing
• Experience with Hi-pots
• Experience with QA/QC inspection and testing
• Experience with installation of high voltage equipment

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in Electrical and Instrumentation construction
