Construction Project Manager

About This Role

This Project Manager role involves overseeing construction projects from planning to completion, focusing on safety, cost control, quality, and subcontractor and customer relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Manage safety, cost, material, schedule, subcontractors, changes, and quality on assigned projects
• Perform project planning, scheduling, and implementation of activities
• Administer contracts
• Control project costs
• Manage subcontractors
• Develop and maintain relationships with key customers
• Participate in strategic and operational initiatives to enhance, grow, and improve the company

Requirements

• Ability to work with a wide range of personnel, both internal and external
• Exceptional listening and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong computer skills
• Demonstrated customer relationship and project management skills
• History of managing multiple projects and customers simultaneously

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management
• Three (3) or more years’ experience working in the construction industry

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of safety best practices and procedures
• Ability to prioritize, pivot with unexpected changes, handle multiple tasks and respond quickly to requests of customers and superintendents
• Ability to identify client needs and manage the work from conceptual stage through completion
