Lead ground-up public-sector construction projects, including convention centers and aviation facilities, in the DFW area. The role requires strong leadership to coordinate with multiple public stakeholders while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all on-site construction activities for ground-up public and municipal projects
- Manage daily field operations, subcontractors, and trade partners
- Coordinate inspections, testing, and compliance with municipal and aviation authorities
- Enforce site safety, OSHA standards, and project-specific safety plans
- Maintain project schedules and ensure sequencing aligns with critical milestones
- Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work
- Lead daily huddles, subcontractor coordination meetings, and site walks
- Ensure quality control and timely resolution of field issues
- Collaborate closely with superintendents, owners, architects, and inspectors
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager
- Proven experience with convention centers, aviation facilities, or municipal ground-up projects
- Strong understanding of public-sector construction processes and documentation
- Experience coordinating with AHJs, inspectors, and multiple stakeholders
- Ability to manage complex schedules and multiple trade partners
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager
Nice to Have
- OSHA 30 certification
- Proficiency with Procore or similar field management software
