Construction Project Manager

About This Role

Manage construction projects by coordinating crews, equipment, and subcontractors, while ensuring projects adhere to schedules, budgets, and quality standards. This role involves both project management and estimating responsibilities for a variety of contracts.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day project management of crews, equipment, and subcontractors
• Maintain daily project quantity records and monitor job costs
• Work with project owner/engineer to make field adjustments that save time and money
• Maintain project schedules, monitor material needs, and contract requirements
• Complete project pay applications and invoices
• Meet with private and public customers to understand scope of work and design projects
• Review bid documents, complete quantity take-offs, and develop production rates
• Assist Area/Division Manager in completing estimates and submission of bids
• Prepare and submit all successful bid contract documents, ensuring proper execution
• Coordinate with management, production crews, and quality control to ensure high-quality products and services

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, Civil Technology or related field is preferred or equivalent experience.
