Concessions Stand Lead

About This Role

Lead the complete operation of assigned concession stands, including training personnel, supervising staff activities, and ensuring efficient inventory and cash handling, for events at the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of stand workers, assigning duties within the stand
• Analyze and resolve all problems with the assistance of Concession Supervisor and/or other management
• Oversee and/or participate in stand set-up and closing procedures
• Ensure that all work stations and the back of stand and storerooms remain clean and sufficiently stocked
• Order replacement stock as necessary
• Efficiently and accurately complete required paperwork
• Investigate discrepancies in money and inventory
• Ensure accuracy of location bank, opening and closing inventory, product transfers, spoilage, and meals on an event basis
• Ensure accurate transaction totals on a random basis for all cashiers
• Maintain a quality appearance of the concession location at all times

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Prior experience as a stand attendant or other food service worker
• Ability to handle cash and inventory efficiently
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
• Ability to work fluently in English
• Ability to work in an open-aired environment during all climate conditions
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds, up and down stairs/ramps
• Ability to work all Venue events, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time
• Meet state and local health requirements for food handlers and alcoholic beverage services

• Prior experience as a stand attendant or other food service worker is necessary
