Concession Stand Worker

About This Role

Serve as a Concession Stand Worker responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving menu items, and handling sales transactions at the Toyota Amphitheatre.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service
• Prepare simple menu items
• Sell items, collect payment, and make correct change
• Interact with customers to assure satisfaction
• Enter all sales accurately into the cash register
• Clean up, store product, and remove trash to dumpster
• Serve patrons’ food and beverage order quickly in proper portions with a courteous demeanor
• Verify I.D. on all customers ordering alcohol
• Suggestively sell and up sell items
• Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work area
• Interact with co-workers to assure compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures
• Perform arithmetic operations involving all United States monetary units

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to interact with co-workers to assure compliance with company service standards
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
• Fluent in English
• Ability to work in an open-aired environment during all climate conditions
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds, up and down stairs/ramps
• Ability to work all stadium events, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time
• Meet state and local health requirements for food handlers and alcoholic beverage services
