Community Management Intern

About This Role

The Community Management Intern will learn to provide exceptional customer experience in a retail setting, assisting with daily store operations and engaging with customers and patients. This role is focused on training and personal development within a Walgreens store.

Responsibilities

• Learn to provide an extraordinary customer experience in a retail store setting
• Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provide change to cash registers
• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services
• Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience
• Learn from store, pharmacy, district manager, competitors, and customers/patients
• Engage in a kick-off and day of service activity
• Be responsible and accountable for registering all related sales on assigned cash register
• Assist manager or assistant store manager in reviewing order exceptions and reverse logistics
• Learn to analyze inventory trends and supervise inventory management
• Assist manager or assistant store manager in evaluating and developing displays

Requirements

• Student beginning or completing Senior year towards a Bachelor’s degree
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours
