Provide direct, one-on-one care to medically fragile pediatric patients in their homes, performing activities of daily living and administering specialized medical care. This role focuses on making a significant difference in the lives of patients and their families by delivering compassionate care.
Responsibilities
- Perform activities of daily living including bathing, personal hygiene, and dressing
- Administer range of motion activities
- Conduct bolus feeding
- Perform catheterization
- Execute oral/nasal suctioning
- Administer oxygen
Requirements
- Valid Certified Nursing Aide I or II certification
- Copy of TB test
- Current CPR certification
- Valid state identification
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Good emotional health
- Ability to physically tolerate standing, bending, and lifting within guidelines
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care
Nice to Have
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Cooperative attitude toward providing services
