The Catering Attendant delivers and serves food at scheduled functions, ensuring accurate execution of events and maintaining cleanliness. This role involves setting up, serving, and breaking down event areas, as well as maintaining food temperatures and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and deliver all food and supplies for catered functions to their scheduled locations
- Log and maintain food temperatures
- Arrange tables and decorations
- Arrange buffet tables with food, beverage, and service items according to standards
- Serve food and beverages to guests
- Thoroughly clean location after event is completed
- Return food and beverages, serving equipment, and utensils to catering facility
- Distribute and collect customer comment cards for catered functions
- Stock, clean, and maintain catering facility and equipment
- Ensure guests receive friendly, courteous service at all times
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of complete menu and products on hand
- Maintain clean and safe work environment
- Follow safety and sanitation policy and procedures at all times
Requirements
- Prior experience in server, banquet service, customer service, and catering
Qualifications
