About This Role

Maintain dishes, pots, pans, trays, and kitchen areas in an orderly and sanitary condition, ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or using a dishwashing machine
• Wash pots, pans, and trays, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation
• Polish silver using burnishing machine, chemical dip, buffing wheel, and hand cloth
• Ensure compliance with outlined safety procedures
• Maintain temperatures and chemical levels according to standards
• Keep dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces
• Remove trash and place it in designated containers, steam clean or hose out garbage cans
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
• Help load and unload supplies and product
