About This Role

This role is responsible for various kitchen cleaning and storage activities, ensuring sanitary procedures and standards are met. It also involves janitorial duties within dining service areas and adherence to all regulatory guidelines for food handling and cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Perform dish washing and pot washing duties
• Carry out general and equipment cleaning activities
• Manage storage and rotation of food and supplies
• Conduct janitorial duties in dining room, bistro, and other associated dining areas
• Handle all foods, storage, and cleaning activities in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards
• Comply with all federal, state, and local regulatory procedures regarding food storage, cleaning, and preparation

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Ability to bend, climb or work in confined spaces
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
• Organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

Qualifications
