Case Manager

About This Role

This Case Manager position provides vital case management and supportive services to tribal children and families, focusing on their basic needs and guiding them towards self-sufficiency within the Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) program. The role involves intensive case management, accurate record maintenance, and compassionate interaction with families in distress.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management and supportive services to tribal children and families
• Guide families toward self-sufficiency
• Provide intensive case management services to individual families
• Maintain accurate, current records of services and progress
• Work with families in distress, demonstrating compassion while remaining objective about their needs
• Manage a heavy caseload to reduce dependency on public assistance and increase education/training completion among single parents

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Two (2) years of experience working in an office environment
• Two (2) years of computer experience utilizing Microsoft Office programs
• Two (2) years of experience in Customer Service
• One (1) year of experience performing data entry
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
