Care Partner

About This Role

The Care Partner provides direct care to residents by assisting them with daily activities and maintaining proper care records. This role requires compassion for the elderly and effective communication with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care, assisting residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, mobility, and incontinence care
• Keep proper care records for residents
• Report any changes in residents’ conditions
• Interact effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Successfully complete training as required by State regulations
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly
• Ability to work responsibly as a team member as well as an individual
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Honest, fair, dependable, respects confidentiality and privacy
• Meet all health requirements and pass background check

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and successfully complete training as required by State regulations

Nice to Have

• CNA/HHA Certifications
