Care Partner

About This Role

As a Care Partner, you will provide personal care and emotional support to elders, assist with meals, and engage them in social activities while maintaining cleanliness and clear communication with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, assisting elders with daily living activities
• Monitor and document changes in elders' health or behavior, reporting to the Wellness Team
• Offer emotional support through conversation, active listening, and companionship
• Assist elders with meals, including feeding those who require additional support
• Engage elders in life-enriching social and recreational activities
• Communicate effectively with elders, their families, team members, and guests
• Perform light housekeeping, tidying up and ensuring general cleanliness

Requirements

• Willingness to learn and work within a team environment
• Good verbal communication skills
• Ability to read, write, and speak English with residents and coworkers
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
