Wellness Director - RN

About This Role

The Wellness Director - RN provides comprehensive personal care services to residents, ensuring respect, dignity, and quality care while coordinating, training, and supervising care staff according to regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive personal care services to residents following regulatory requirements
• Ensure residents are treated with respect and dignity
• Ensure quality care as residents’ healthcare needs change
• Coordinate, train, and supervise resident care staff
• Supervise department employees using independent judgment and discretion

Requirements

• Must be an RN in good standing and meet all State health requirements
• 3+ years experience in Assisted Living and/or Long-term care
• Knowledgeable of State and local rules, regulations, laws, and ordinances relating to licensed senior housing
• Previous supervisory and/or management experience in a related healthcare setting
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, community and State officials and general public
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to reprioritize daily tasks
• Ability to develop systems for monitoring resident health conditions and ensuring efficient and safe delivery of resident care
• Must meet all health requirements and pass background checks

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Assisted Living and/or Long-term care
