Care Manager

About This Role

This role is for a Care Giver who will provide hands-on care and support to senior residents, while maintaining a safe and comfortable home-like environment. The position involves assisting residents with daily living activities and engaging them in life enrichment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of resident’s room and work areas
• Help residents maintain independence, promoting dignity and physical safety of each resident
• Participate and assist residents with activities of daily living (i.e. bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating) as instructed
• Engage residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• Ability to communicate effectively with Residents, management, and co-workers
• Superior customer service skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Must demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred

Nice to Have

• Certified Nurse’s Aid certification
• Previous experience working with seniors
