About This Role

This role involves generating new business opportunities, building relationships within the fresh produce supply chain, and supporting revenue growth for domestic and international markets.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, identify, and qualify new business opportunities in the fresh produce and vegetable market
  • Execute outbound sales and sourcing efforts (calls, emails, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, trade contacts)
  • Build and maintain relationships with growers, suppliers, exporters, importers, and distributors
  • Support sourcing of fresh produce and vegetables aligned with market demand and quality standards
  • Coordinate with internal sales, operations, and logistics teams to ensure smooth deal execution
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and pipeline activity in CRM systems
  • Stay informed on market trends, pricing, seasonality, and supply chain conditions
  • Assist in negotiations and follow-ups to convert qualified opportunities into closed deals

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales and/or sourcing of fresh produce and vegetables
  • Strong understanding of agricultural supply chains and produce commercialization
  • Fluent English
  • Proven ability to prospect and generate new business opportunities
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, target-driven environments
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in sales and/or sourcing of fresh produce and vegetables

Nice to Have

  • Bilingual proficiency (Spanish or other languages preferred)
