About This Role

Act as a dynamic Business Development Associate within the Finance & Accounting (F&A) Staffing division. Leverage an existing contact base, network, and prospect for new staffing opportunities, and consistently apply superior sales prowess to win competitive opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Pursue new business opportunities with prospects and existing clients
  • Train under the guidance of the Managing Director while building a portfolio of leads
  • Schedule and conduct consultative meetings with hiring managers and talent acquisition/HR teams
  • Convert leads to opportunities by articulating Atrium's capabilities and competitive differentiators
  • Develop pricing proposals and drive profitable margins through strong negotiation skills
  • Meet sales performance metrics, expectations, and deliverables
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with existing clients to ensure best-in-class service
  • Generate sales leads and market new business through cold and warm calls, emails, and targeted marketing campaigns
  • Maintain accurate records of all prospecting and sales activities within the Atrium CRM platform
  • Collaborate with Divisional Leaders, Business Development Managers, and Recruiters to uncover intel and opportunities
  • Attend local industry organizations, conferences, and networking events

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of new business development experience
  • Proven history of achieving sales quota
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage several prospects/proposals simultaneously in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work within the Little Falls, NJ office on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday
  • Ability to travel between Atrium offices and attend national industry events/conferences

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience is preferred
  • Minimum 2-4 years of new business development and experience in generating new business leads and sales, with a proven history of achieving sales quota.
