Lead and coach a branch team to provide excellent client service, analyze financial needs, and recommend solutions for clients to achieve financial wellness. Accountable for branch operations and compliance, while focusing on acquiring and growing small business relationships.
Responsibilities
- Build, coach, develop, lead, and motivate a team focused on excellent client service and financial solutions
- Accountable for branch operations and compliance, ensuring adherence to procedures and timely completion of tasks
- Lead team through consistent execution of the Branch Playbook to achieve branch goals
- Acquire and grow small business relationships and serve as a market leader in the local community
- Engage in outside calling to small business clients and develop centers of influence
- Lead and develop the branch team, ensuring understanding of Key’s products, services, and sales process
- Facilitate strong partnerships within the branch and with line of business partners for client acquisition and deepening relationships
- Manage staffing, scheduling, recruiting, interviewing, selection, onboarding, and training of direct reports
- Deliver consistent, disciplined coaching and performance management through observational coaching and joint sales calls
- Provide guidance and direction to ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and internal controls
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales capacity with a demonstrated ability to lead and coach a successful sales team
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrated small business deposit/credit experience and familiarity with small business operations
- General understanding of financial statements and concepts
- Demonstrated understanding of consumer credit including loan to value, debt to income and credit reports
- Demonstrated ability to leverage Centers of Influence (COIs)
- Demonstrated experience with influencing business partners such as Key Investment Services, Mortgage and Business Banking sales professionals
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and strong public speaking skills
- High School Diploma GED, or equivalent experience
Qualifications
- High School Diploma GED, or equivalent experience or Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales capacity with a demonstrated ability to lead and coach a successful sales team; Minimum 3 years of demonstrated small business deposit/credit experience and familiarity with small business operations; General understanding of financial statements and concepts; Demonstrated understanding of consumer credit; Demonstrated ability to leverage Centers of Influence (COIs); Demonstrated experience with influencing business partners; Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and possess strong public speaking skills
