Branch Manager

About This Role

Manage operations and team within a Chase branch, focusing on growing deposits and investments, fostering client relationships, and ensuring operational integrity. Lead by example and coach staff for success in a dynamic banking environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of the branch including growing deposits and investments, operations, and coaching the team for success
• Deliver attentive and friendly service, creating a welcoming environment for employees and clients
• Share a clear vision and embody company culture and values for the branch team
• Leverage the Branch Scorecard to identify strategies to successfully grow deposits and investments
• Prioritize understanding and meeting the needs of clients to build lasting relationships and trust
• Build and cultivate a high-performing team through coaching, feedback, and celebrating successes
• Encourage ongoing learning and development within the team
• Forge meaningful relationships with local businesses to strengthen branch presence and community engagement
• Ensure a strong risk and control environment by using sound judgment and following policies and procedures
• Influence, educate, and connect team, partners, and clients with technology

Requirements

• 2+ years of management, Retail Banking, or equivalent Chase leadership experience
• High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
• Ability to work branch hours including weekends and evenings
• Passion for creating exceptional experiences and setting the tone in the branch
• Outstanding leadership skills with a proven track record of coaching and empowering employees
• Ability to multitask, organize, and manage competing priorities
• Thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment with strong decision-making skills
• Experienced in creating and maintaining a strong risk and control environment
• Strong desire and ability to influence, educate, and connect with technology

Qualifications

• High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent
• 2+ years of management, Retail Banking, or equivalent Chase leadership experience

• College degree or military equivalent
