Box Office Attendant

About This Role

Provide high-level customer service related to ticketing at the box office or ticket resolution areas for Insomniac's Beyond Wonderland SoCal 2026 event. This role involves assisting patrons with ticket orders, resolving scanning issues, and processing transactions.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in training for the Front Gate box office system to effectively assist patrons with ticket orders.
• Quickly and efficiently identify customer's will-call orders by verifying pertinent customer information.
• Resolve scanning issues with patron's tickets in a timely and courteous manner.
• Accurately administer cash and credit card transactions using the Front Gate POS system.
• Contact supervisor for unanswered questions.
• Maintain a professional, upbeat attitude and smile in a fast-paced environment.
• Keep areas clean and organized.
• Understand surroundings and all published festival information to provide effective, correct information about the event.
• Treat all attendees with equal respect and sincerity.
• Understand evacuation procedures and safe refuge locations prior to the opening of each show.

Requirements

• Comfortable with using a computer
• Interact professionally with all levels of individuals in a courteous manner
• Ability to de-escalate situations professionally
• Successfully complete a background investigation
• Successfully complete a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test
• Maintain and carry a valid driver’s license

Qualifications

• Sales and customer service-related work experience is preferred.
