Boat & ATV Sales Consultant

About This Role

This role is responsible for assisting customers with boat and ATV purchases, ensuring a pleasant shopping experience, and making informed buying decisions. The consultant will engage customers, provide product information, and manage leads to meet and exceed monthly sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Support a strong commitment to world-class customer service and ensure a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers
• Engage all customers entering the department in a friendly and timely manner
• Determine customer boating and/or ATV needs
• Provide information necessary for customers to make informed buying decisions
• Maintain current product knowledge using available resources
• Maintain awareness of advertised items, current pricing structures and promotions
• Adhere to all selling skills training and direction
• Work cooperatively with the Service Department for seamless delivery to customers
• Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive and personal information
• Prepare the showroom daily ensuring proper signage, cleanliness, and presentability of products
• Generate and manage leads and prospects in the CRM tool daily, including entering new customers and documenting follow-up activities
• Participate in special events such as Boat Shows and Parking Lot events
• Accurately complete all necessary paperwork within the selling process
• Meet and exceed predetermined individual monthly sales goals

Requirements

• High School education or equivalent experience
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and percentages
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers
• Ability to operate computer system and Point of Sale register system
