Detailer

About This Role

The Detailer performs various detailing and transportation tasks for new and pre-owned boats, motors, trailers, and ATVs to support sales, service, and parts operations. This role is crucial for ensuring a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, wax, and vacuum interiors and exteriors of boats for customer pickups, display, and service units
• Unload incoming boats, motors, trailers, and ATVs using a forklift or tractor, then transport them to various dealership areas
• Confirm packing lists or invoices for all boat loads or other product deliveries
• Transport and stage customer boats and ATVs to service, rigging, and storage yards as needed
• Maintain an updated list of cleaning supplies and inform the Service Manager or Service Lead of needed items
• Assist Rigger and Service Specialist with PDI and VIN verification processes
• Inform Service Manager or Service Lead of any unit concerns or required repairs
• Perform grounds and facility maintenance as required
• Keep work area neat and clean

Requirements

• High School education or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Ability to complete simple math calculation
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner
• Ability to operate a Fork Lift and tractor
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to work out of doors in all kinds of weather

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent experience
