Yard Attendant

About This Role

Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the yard and storage lot, ensuring timely retrieval and proper display of boats, trailers, motors, and ATVs. Transport units to designated locations within the dealership or for shipment, contributing to a world-class customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly yard/storage lot and product displays
• Transport units to designated locations within the department or dealership
• Operate a forklift or tractor to unload incoming boats, motors, trailers, and ATVs
• Confirm packing lists or invoices for all deliveries
• Arrange for transport and staging of boats for service, rigging, and detailing
• Load and stage outgoing units in designated areas of the storage lot for pick-up
• Check rigged units for correct paperwork, verified serial numbers, proper accessory installation, and correct engine rigging
• Assist in washing and vacuuming units as needed
• Assist with monthly and annual physical unit inventories

Requirements

• High School education or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Ability to operate a Fork Lift
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
